About Christy...
Christy's love of the arts began as a child, when she was involved in dance, music, fine arts, and theatre classes and performances. She discovered Stage Management and live events in college and it proved to be a perfect fit. She has been privileged to have spent the entirety of her career as a professional Stage Manager. Highlights of her career include: The Lion King (First National Tour), Side Man (Broadway) and 3 seasons at The Papermill Playhouse (Millburn, NJ) and most recently, 14 years as an Assistant Stage Manager on Wicked (Broadway). She has served as a live events Stage Manager for numerous prestigious organizations including Amazon, Tunnel to Towers, New Jersey Performing Arts Center and more.

Her teaching career began over 15 years ago through teaching, tutoring and mentoring theatre students privately and through her work at New York Film Academy and the company that she co-founded: Broadway Basics.

She has been a guest speaker/lecturer for Julliard, Columbia University, Emerson College, The College of New Jersey, The Ohio State University and many other schools in the U.S. In addition, she was a Stage Management mentor at the 2015, 2016 and 2018 USITT conferences, as well as a panelist. Teaching, guiding and mentoring the next generation of theater professionals is her true passion.
